The audience and the stage were intoxicated by the flutes, bells, and drums that revived the DNA of the Japanese people, and the audience became one with the stage by clapping their hands.
Placed in the midst of all this, I was able to appreciate Japanese folk performing art, kagura, for the first time in a long while.
The performer was Shiokawa Senpai, a board member of the Kanagawa Branch of the Toyo University Alumni Association.
At the end of the performance, Shiokawa took off his mask, and when we in the front row waved to him, he gave us a very nice smile.
On the way home, it was a little cold and drizzling, but we had a quick drink at the Ebisu Bar in Hon Atsugi Station and left with a warm feeling of “It was worth coming because Shiokawa-senpai was so happy.
