令和5年 三友好団体有志新年会を開催
大学3大駅伝の最後を飾る箱根駅伝で、東洋大学は往路の1区と2区で大幅に出遅れましたが11位で盛り返し、復路での接戦を繰り広げた末に10位でゴールしました。来年の第100回記念大会に向け、シード権を獲得したことは大変意義のある結果です。
出場選手の皆様、監督、コーチの皆様、スタッフの皆様、そして全国から母校を応援した校友の皆様に心から敬意を表します。
神奈川県支部は、例年、甫水会様・甫水OB会様との3友好団体共催で沿道応援や応援新年会を開催してきました。しかし、今回は昨年同様のコロナ感染対策にもとづき、1月2日の小田原会場応援は中止し、1月3日、崎陽軒本店会場で「令和５年３友好団体有志新年会」を開催しました。３友好団体および近隣支部、一般を含め63名の皆様にご参加いただきました。
そのほか、長崎県在住の佐藤元神奈川県支部長にもリモートでご参加いただきました。
新年会は、扇谷理事の司会進行でスタートし、 校歌斉唱のあと、櫻井支部長が開会挨拶を行いました。
続いて、甫水会の吉田神奈川県支部長、甫水OB会の鈴木神奈川県支部会長から挨拶を受け、小沢東洋大学校友会副会長の挨拶と乾杯の音頭で会食に入りました。
母校のシード権獲得への安堵感や第100回記念大会に向けた期待感、そして、参加者全員からの自己紹介を受けるなど、歓談と交流を深めた新年会になりました。
お開きの時間となって、関神奈川県副支部長の3本締めで閉会し、最後に集合写真を撮影し散会しました。
改めて、ご参加の皆様に感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。

In the Hakone Ekiden, the last of the three major university Ekiden races, Toyo University was significantly behind in the first and second stages of the outbound route.
However, he rebounded to 11th place, and after a close battle on the return trip, he finished in 10th place.
It is a very significant result that we have obtained the seed right for the 100th anniversary of the Hakone Ekiden next year.
I would like to express my sincere respect to all the participating players, managers, coaches, staff, and all the alumni who supported my alma mater from all over the country.
Every year, Toyo University Kanagawa Branch has held a roadside cheering event and a New Year’s party co-sponsored by Hosuikai and Hosui OB-kai.
However, this time, based on the same corona infection countermeasures as last year, the support at the Odawara venue on January 2 was canceled, and on January 3, the “Reiwa 5th year 3 friendly group volunteers New Year’s party” was held at the Kiyoken main store venue. .
A total of 63 people, including members of 3 friendship groups, neighboring branches, and the general public, participated in the event.
In addition, former Kanagawa branch manager Sato, who lives in Nagasaki, also participated remotely.
The new year’s party started with Director Ogitani as the moderator.
Next, Hosuikai Kanagawa branch manager Yoshida and Hosui alumni association Kanagawa branch chairman Suzuki gave greetings, followed by greetings and a toast by Toyo University Alumni Association vice president Ozawa.
It was a New Year’s party that deepened exchanges and conversations, such as a sense of relief that the alma mater had obtained seed rights, a sense of anticipation for the 100th anniversary tournament, and receiving self-introductions from all the participants.
When it was time to open the ceremony, Kanagawa Prefectural Deputy Chief Seki closed the meeting, and finally, we took a group photo and adjourned. Thank you again for your participation. Thank you very much.
